They wanted a lighthouse in their design combined with teal, orange, yellow colors.
\"Pen is mightier than the sword\" was my initial thought for this logo thus the combination of a pen tip and lighthouse. I also added some stars in the background because lighthouse light is always most useful at night.")

They were looking for a logo to convey some scientific meaning. This involves a red \"A\" cell and a blue \"Alpha\" cell connecting like puzzle pieces.
I created symbolic letter A with two molecules combining in the middle.")

Since the geometrical crosshatch pattern did not, in my opinion, give clue that the product is all natural I added a big central element that resembles a cream drop/leaf that symbolizes nature or cream. It also gives the box a catcheye element.")

I went with the ambigram solution here.
(An ambigram is a word, art form or other symbolic representation whose elements retain meaning when viewed or interpreted from a different direction, perspective, or orientation.)
You can read the word \"drip\" if you flip it for 180º. I thought it would be a cool touch. IV's you also flip when giving them to patients. If the logo is printed on IV bags no matter how you turn them - it would always read: \"drip\".")

My main inspiration for this design was Powhatan, indian chief that the town was named after. (he was the father of Pocahontas)
I created stylized indian feather crest on top that is similar in style to the one chief Powhatan weared. I thought it would be a good idea to include some history and heritage into the design. Depictions of soccer ball haven't felt right and it's all too seen.")
