And in this fun 1-to-1 illustration project, forward progress just happens to be a little admiral launching cannonballs of progress from his old-timey cannon forward, into the future.

Logo design for a multi-pass (as in ticket) service in New Zealand. It is combining the infinity ∞ of physics as metaphor for a continued use with the fern as a native symbolism of New Zealand. A perforated line connecting the fern leaves to the stem puts the design in the context of (multi-pass) tickets. The fern leaf shape is reiterated in the lettering.
