The mood is dark. The story involves child/spousal abuse and murder. Much of the story (abuse/murder) takes place on an old, rundown, single story house in the country. Lots of trees around the place, an old shed in the back, and a root cellar in the back. There's a mailbox on a post by the road in front of the property with a flag to show mail has arrived. The abusive father is a crack addict and alcoholic. He drives an old pickup truck that he parks near the house. It's never good when the pickup is there. I have an image of this old house with an apparition of the long-haired, sunken eyed, drugged out father in the sky looking down on the place. I'm open to suggestions. FYI: The book is a novella approximately 160-180 pages.")

This is a cover for an adult romance novella. Our protagonist is a well-built, muscular Viking, bare-chested with long blond hair. His romantic partner in this story is a muscular, tall, bald, black man. The setting is contemporary, so no Viking swords or traditional Viking gear - setting is modern. The book is set mostly in a small town, specifically the diner with a 1950’s aesthetic owned by our non-Viking protagonist. The Viking is cursed to have dangerous winds crop up whenever he experiences fear (so a startle would elicit a light breeze while a panic attack would create a twister that decimates entire counties).")
