I am an illustrator and graphic designer with 15+ years of experience in the field and many published books.
I believe an image should not only repeat what the words say, but it must also be able to tell a story by itself, revealing emotions and bringing the characters to life, letting us dive into the new world it depicts. An image shouldn't only illustrate, it has to transcend the story and create a whole new experience, making us go into a journey.
