Additionally, I used the arrows (as you can see illustrated in the bottom portion of the design) to communicate the three main focuses of the church: 1.) And Upward focus, or Jesus, and worshipping Him (FAITH), and Inward focus, and our own personal walk, and our families (FAMILY), and an Outward focus, on evangelism, and outreach (FRIENDSHIP).
The icon is not meant to have the write lines as displayed in the bottom portion. I added those in to better illustrate my vision.")

The first is the rings, they represent the Trinity. Rings also communicate the idea of belonging, the sense of being wrapped up. In this case, wrapped up in the fullness of God.
The second is the upward lines. They resemble both wheat, or grass as it grown upward (representing growth through discipleship), and the imagery of a city skyline (representing the people in the city you wish to reach).
Finally, the the lines lie within the circle, communicating that it is only through Jesus we can have belonging, grow, and truly experience heaven.")
