The Vancouver Riptide are a new professional Ultimate Frisbee team playing their first season in the American Ultimate Disci League ( AUDL) in 2014 in Vancouver, BC Canada. Professional Ultimate is a fast paced sport marked by speed, athleticism and incredible layout catches and "Ds" that is booming in North America. Visit the "theaudl.com" website and you will see other team logos. The Riptide name is consistent with the incredible throws that rip the disc downfield and the marine theme common to Vancouver sports franchises. eg Whitecaps, Orcas etc.

The audience for our sport are high school and university students, professionals and media types in the 16-30 year old demographic. We are looking for something that capture the names of the team and the marine theme of Riptide. Fast, flowing, clean.
