Design a fun, modern logo for a VR game featuring the Monarch Butterfly

This logo is for a virtual reality game featuring the monarch butterfly. We are looking for something elegant and modern, and a bit playful. The main text of the logo should just read "Monarch" and below that, the subtext/slogan should just be "VR".

The goal of our company is to create a series of science-based, first-person nature simulations in virtual reality. These combine the educational value of a nature documentary with the intrinsic enjoyment and engagement of a video game that allows players to defy the limitations of their own bodies and experience the world as if they were another living creature with a vastly different experience of reality, while witnessing first-hand the deleterious impact human behaviors can have on our animal cousins, as through climate change.

We're attaching our original draft logo that we are replacing. We liked the butterfly backdrop, but didn't much like the text fonts or styling. We'd like something more modern and professional looking.
