Design an attention-grabbing logo for a major European quiz competition

European Quiz Championships

We are organizing the very first European Quiz Championships in January 2025. These championships will be held in the town of Betschdorf, in the NE of France. The number "67" in the title "QUIZ67" refers to the number of the French department (Bas-Rhin) in which the event will be held.

IMPORTANT SPECS:

1. This event is meant to attract WOMEN and MEN equally.

2. These will be the European Championships and we expect to run the World Championships (in the US) at a later date.

3. The town of Betschdorf is located along the German border (in France). But the event will target users from France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherland and Luxembourg. All of these countries are within driving distance of Betschdorf.

4. We aim to host up to 3000 people at this event.

5. During the event, contestants will battle each other out across a wide variety of quiz topics (history, geography, sports, movies, literature, etc). You can see a full list of topics here: https://mastersoftrivia.com/en/all-quizzes/

5. These quiz contests will be held in 4 languages: French, English, German and Alsatian (the local/regional language).

6. The idea behind the words and number in the logo ("quiz" + "67") is to serve as an immediate topic + location identifier as everyone knows what a quiz is, and most people know the location of "department 67." And our web domain (once deployed) will be QUIZ67.COM.

7. This event will be a "hybrid" event occuring over a two-day time span (Saturday/Sunday). On Saturday, contestants will battle each other out -on location in Betschdorf - for a spot in the Finals, held on Sunday. Then, on Sunday as well, the Finalists will compete against our online community via the MastersOfTrivia.com platform (https://mastersoftrivia.com/).

8. Since this is a major cultural event, we will also host a number of premier sponsors (businesses) that tie directly into the themes of the quizzes. For example, we will run a "Cheese Quiz" contest sponsored by a local cheese producer (the same for wine), and the cheese producer will be present and sample their products to the visitors and contestants. Overall, we expect to host 40-50 sponsors during the two-day event.

9. From the logo, it should be immediately apparent that QUIZ67 is:
- a major physical event
- an even with a cultural and gaming flair/ connotation

10. We purposely do not want to share logos that we like in that space as doing so has backfired for us in the past.
