Biographie de l'auteur
Jonathan is a believer of the Word of God. Through the Word, he believes all the answers we seek can be found. It has not been long since he has begun his journey of faith, dedication, and love. Attending Catholic school for most of his life, there was still a void inside him. Soul searching began, and it took plenty of time before he finally began to truly pray. It always takes something, and so Jonathan became ill after his honeymoon throughout Europe. This illness left all doctors baffled, and without a true definition of what he had, or what he was going through. No closure, and Jonathan suffered fever, on and off, for several years.
Jonathan Lara was touched by the Holy Spirit on February 9, 2021. His 31st Birthday. When he finally concluded that the only way to battle his sickness, was through prayer. God spoke to him on this day, and he was healed. Since then, Jonathan has been an avid disciple of Jesus Christ. In doing so, he has helped grow the faith of some of his closest friends, family, and even complete strangers. Jonathan felt the calling to share his story through his book “The Great Definer”, and what he calls “defining moments” in one’s life.
He is married, in a blended family with three young boys. With God at the center, they are united. Jonathan and his family live in Miami, Florida where they attend Vous Church every Sunday. He believes that teaching the Word can accomplish anything in one’s life. To humble yourself and give your heart to God is the ultimate achievement, and the only way to feel complete joy.

Description du livre
When you first hear the words “what defines you,” I imagine you can come up with an array of answers. It seems like we have been programmed to answer this question. Some would say that your identity or personality defines you. Others may say that your actions will define you. What about your beliefs or desires? Your choices? Your accomplishments? Your positivity or overall demeanor?
The truth seems to be that there is a lot that can define you. It seems to be that we simply don’t know. We somehow, in some way, have lost our true definition of self. How do we expect to grow in life and receive all that life has to offer if we simply do not know who we are? What if we are actually missing the bigger picture? What if, because of our uncertainty in ourselves, we are “blind” to what is truly in front of us? We can miss out on some big opportunities—life-changing, monumental opportunities. I do not want you to miss those opportunities, so in this book, I will help define you and create your new identity with God.

There are times when any person can feel incomplete. When we feel like
something is missing, and these thoughts can lead to anguish, frustration, anger,
and a laundry list of problems. I ask that you open your heart, and open your
mind. That’s all. Be open. Available. If you are reading this book, you either
believe and therefore, love Jesus with all your heart, or, you’re desperate. You’re
seeking to fill the void, and trying to find the answers to the wrong questions. I’ve
been there, we all have. You’re not alone. You’ve just been knocking on the
wrong doors for too long.

The idea is to show light in the darkness. The style, shape, display of light is up to you. But I’m trying to showcase that we have a light inside us that we have to turn on. And if we turn it on, we have to let it shine for everyone to see. We are the light of the world, but that light is usually hidden, or dimmed. I would like the cover to represent or display a loving light. A light that has potential to shine brightly, in front of the world. Dimensions for book , I think, will be 6x9.
