Soulrider.com - Share Your Sessions
Parlez-nous de vous et des personnes que vous souhaitez cibler
Soulrider.com is a community website for boardsports including windsurfing, surfing, snowboarding, or skateboarding. The core content of the website is the Sessions Blog where users blog about their recent boardsport activities.
We like facebook because its design is simple and not overloaded. However, for a boardsports website we need something cooler and more fun. Other than that we do not have greatly inspirational sites in mind.
Description de la page
We look for a new cool design for the frontpage which is simple, fresh, matches the target audience, is easy to understand, and encourages users to participate and share their sessions with the community. The layout should be similiar to what it is right now. The design, however, needs some improvement!
The second page we would like to have a good layout and design for ist the page containing an individual session. We have a lot of content to display on this site, such as text, fotos, videos, comments, the riders, etc. and we would like to have this content arranged in a way that it is easy for the user.
A good design should have a good balance between excellent usability, providing all necessary information and looking cool.
Have a look at the page and the members of the community to get a sense of the lifestyle. Also think of the surfer, snowboarder, or skateboarder lifestyle if you need inspiration. You can browse sites such as Billabong, O'neill and the like. However, these sites are different from ours in that they have a different focus. Our site is a community and contains a lot of detailed information. A good design should have a good balance between excellent usability, providing all necessary information and looking cool.
Concerning the Ads: We have skyscrapers and content (rectangle) ads. Please make sure the design leaves enough space for these ads.
Note that the background does not necessarily need to be black. We are open for new suggestions!
