This contest is to design the front-end appearance of that site.
211 Berkley
Everyone,
I'm going to be putting my house up for sale in a month or so. I'm doing it FSBO, and one of the parts I want to have is a decent looking website for it.
The site layout will need only 3 menu items: home, details, contact.
The 'home' screen is the primary one you should be developing for, and will be essentially an ajax lightbox/mootools photo gallery, so just use some made up photo/photo gallery and design it however you think would look best.
I'm partial to some sort of wood-floor background, if you can make it work. I've added some to istockphoto lightbox. Please see: http://www.istockphoto.com/file_sea…ID=5671893 for samples. I'll buy whatever of those is required at the end. However, if you think you have a better solution than the wood backgrounds, feel free to try that too.
The address is "211 Berkley" so that can be the 'brand' if you will for the site.
Other than that, feel free to go nuts and try many different things, color combinations, layouts, etc etc. I'm pretty flexible and I'm looking for something unique. I'll be doing the implementation, javascript and coding for the project, and I'm decent at css/xhtml but not so handy in design -- thats where you come in!
Thanks
Brian
