We are looking for a simple, modern, focused website that utilizes our company's branding. The function of the website will be to connect prospective clients seeking therapy and assessment services with our psychologists in an efficient, focused, and aesthetically appealing manner.

1. Homepage should be a landing page that captures the attention of prospective clients and quickly directs them to the information that they need most (i.e. how to book an appointment with us). They should also be able to be quickly directed to more information about our services and our team if they need that information prior to booking. 2. Our Team should be a webpage that features our psychologists and provides prospective clients with more information about them. 3. Services should be a page that describes the various treatment and assessment services that we provide 4. Resources page should contain links to community resources, FAQ and original content (resources we have compiled and original publications like a blog). 5. Contact us should contain information to book an appointment and communicate with us (i.e. phone, fax, send a message etc). This page will also be used by Physicians to make a referral, and by existing clients to access their client portal. UPDATE: 1. Due to our professional regulations, we cannot use testimonials for our business. Further, we are not allowed to make references to the quality of our services (i.e. we cannot say we are the best psychologists on the north shore). We also cannot use the word Bloom explicitly in a positive context (i.e. explicit references to blossoming should be avoided). That being said, there are a few unique things about our company. The first thing is that we provide services across the lifespan from childhood to adulthood, and we provide assessment and therapy services. Note that we do not provide services to individuals over 65 years of age, and thus any content by way of graphics or text referencing seniors is outside the scope of our company and should be avoided. Another important aspect if our business is that we are Psychologists are regulated health professionals in BC with high levels of training (i.e. PhD) and a breadth of experience in dealing with mental health issues. 2. We are looking for a website that will be very mobile friendly, and this is very important to us. Any design that we select as the winner will have to demonstrate that it can achieve the right functionality and aesthetic across desktop and mobile platforms. 3. The homepage will have to make it very easy for people to book appointments. There should not be any embedded forms, however, because we will be using specific forms with security-enhanced features to handle confidential information, as per the guidelines of our professional college. Thus, buttons are preferred over embedded forms. The headers should include “Home”, “Our Team”, “Services”, “Resources”, and “Contact Us”. Any reference to “About Us” should be represented as the first section on the homepage with a brief paragraph or graphic, but this should not be represented in the header. At this time, there should be some reference to the COVID-19 pandemic somewhere on the homepage. 4. The “Our Team” section should of course feature our staff (both Danielle and myself) as well as the clinic manager. We should have brief bios, and there should be a clear way to identify the kinds of services that we provide and the ages that we serve. 5. The “Services” page should include the following headers by service type Children, Adolescents, and Families - Therapy Services - Assessment Services Adults and Couples - Therapy Services - Assessment Services Once those categories are selected, there should be lots of room for us to create individual services perhaps using a more text-friendly format. These services will expand as we grow our clinic and should be flexible and friendly to content management software. 6. The “Resources” section should be a place where individuals can access resources by the following type: - Professional Resources - Community Resources - Self-Help Resources - F.A.Q. Once those categories are selected, there should be lots of room for us to create resources perhaps using a more text-friendly format. These resources will expand as we grow our clinic and should be flexible and friendly to content management software. 7. The Contact Us page should feature buttons to book a free phone consultation, make a self-referral, or make a professional referral. These buttons will link to secure forms that individuals can complete securely. The Contact Us page should also reference to our physical location with a map (we are now on google maps https://www.google.com/maps/place/Bloom Of course, it should also display our phone and fax number. Finally, the page should have a button that links to the client portal for existing clients.
