We are seeking to upgrade our website: Landairprojectresources.com to reflect the goals of Landair’s business strategy. We are interested in simple and clear communication of our business, services, areas of expertise and target client profile. The site should be easy to navigate, and aesthetically, it should represent the firm as an industry leader with a national reach.
Landair helps clients maximize the value of their real property assets through our real estate development planning, development management, owner’s representation, technical consulting and transaction services, designed to fulfill the needs of businesses, public institutions, and private investors.
Design scope should include a Home page as well as an internal page template. The design should emphasize our scope of services. Selected projects should be graphically highlighted.
We would like the home page to include a graphic that covers 2/3 of the page. We are open to the type of image as long as it represents our core business. We do not want visitors to have to scroll down too much on our home page. Everything should be seen within the opening window – which will limit straight text and allow for a more welcoming graphic presentation.
We are open to a top or left side navigation. We will also consider a combination of the two for the navigation of our headers – Consulting Experience, Clients, What’s New, Our Team, Affililate Companies, Projects Gallery, Career, and Contact Us.
Landair helps clients maximize the value of their real property assets through our real estate development planning, capital project management, technical consulting and transaction services, designed to fulfill the needs of businesses, public institutions, and private investors.
We are one of the industry’s most respected independent consultancy practices; known for our ability to successfully lead large and complex projects, and as an industry leader positioned within the corporate, entertainment, cultural and educational, medical, market residential, and government sectors.
A list of words that describe our organization:

• USEFUL LINKS
We would like the home page to include a graphic that conveys examples of our completed projects and of projects in process.
We do not want visitors to have to scroll down on our home page. Everything should be seen within the opening window – which will limit straight text and allow for a more welcoming graphic presentation. The page should be clean and the information well organized, with not too much text.
Our existing logo needs slight tweaking—and we are open to other color combos for it, if there is a reason to back this up. We would like to logo to read without the capital A: that is, we are Landair. It can appear in all caps or as here.
We reference 3 web sites that have various attributes that are of interest. Our web site should incorporate these aspects but not resemble anyone of these. Web site 1 is http://www.milrose.com. What we like about this website is that the information is very well organized –immediately clear—and easy to navigate. What we don’t like about it is the color, the fact that it very much looks like an off—the- shelf template, etc.
Our projects are all unique, and many are unusual, and so our Web site should convey this—rather than look like it is off the shelf, one size fits all.
The second web site is; http://www.GE.com. It is clean and says a lot about the power of this firm by simple, clear statements and graphics. It conveys a global reach. Obviously we are not GE, but we are a leader in our own niche and our web site should convey that we have the capability for the largest and most complex projects.
The third is http://www.rrcmusic.com We are not interested in having an opening “ta da” sequence, but what is appealing about this site is that it conveys that the people in this firm are of top drawer quality and they each hold talents of value for a client. It conveys not just the standar who/what/where. It says why—showing the passion that the people have for their work. It conveys a sense of style and brand.
We would like flash incorporated into the design to highlight areas of the site. We are also open to seeing items “pop” or move graphically throughout the page. We are open to the content used as long as it is not too distracting. We would like to have a placeholder on the Home page to insert 1 sentence news or new client projects on a regular basis.
• Clean design
• Visually appealing
• Clear Terminilogy
• Immediate clarity – we want the skills and services we provide easily identifiable
• Balance of aesthetics and communication
• Easy Navigation
• Clear visual communication
• Flash elements woven throughout
• Simple design / graphics that we can incoporate into presentation materials
• Ability to modify the back end and make updates.
We are looking for a professional design that incorporates colors that say: excellence, high proficiency, and impeccable client care.
Looking for something sophisticated but not cold and off-putting. We are looking for a good balance of white space. Elements should be spaced throughout the page.
We will consider top naviagtion / menu bar or a combination of top navigation with left side section navigation.
Layout / Dimensions
920px – 940px wide.
We would like the design delivered in Photoshop .psd or HTML. PSD files must be intact, well organized and clearly labeled.
• Anything too flashy
• Too much searching to find key information.
• Cumbersome design
• Architectural looking
• Site overcrowding
