We’re transitioning over to wordpress from static html but we want to update look and flow to mirror direction of consumer use online….especially smartphone. Want more of a consumer product feel than corporate/hard insurance that’s so commonplace. More interactive, warm, engaging. Need to flow from quote to plan finder to assistance. Clean.

Ability to select from different markets in main hero block (individual/family, small business, medicare, etc) which then directs to a specific quote page. 2. Call to actions (graphic – clean): Need Help With: Individuals and Families How to Quote Tax Credits, Household make-up, and Income Picking the best plan Applying Online Help With Existing Covered Ca account Small Business Start-up companies Protecting budget Offering plan flexibility Saving on Costs Enrollment Existing group policies Medicare Finding the best plan When to enroll How to enroll Medicare supplement versus Advantage Plans 3. Testimonial focus (we have very strong reviews on Google) 4. Blog rolls – we have 100’s of organic articles – main source of traffic 5. Updated Contact basis: Chat, Text, Call 6. Our benefits 7. 1-2 high priority article highlights 8. Link to How-To Hubs for each segment (individual, small business, medicare) Really need clean and updated look for site. More focused on feel and visual layout first.

Once home page style is nailed down, will work on the quote pages…the heart of the site. Right now, there’s a lot of text on the home page for SEO purposes but that should probably be linked to in one of the sections above. We want a completely new way to present and guide consumer with information. We want the quote function to be married with interactive modules that actually help people pick the right plan. Not sure if this a pop up function or some other interesting mode. Maybe embedded window below quote window with direction to go there for more help. We’ve built a “Plan Finder” to help answer the big questions. Link is here. This option should be available on quote page if people need help. We would likely hire the designers to re-craft the planfinder (graphics, etc) to match winning home design. First goal is to showcase an updated Plan Finder. Second option (if planfinder doesn’t cut it) is to provide chat/text/call function for questions. The quote page design would merge the main quote window and these options for learning more in a clean and creative way. Testimonials, carriers, our benefits etc would also be on page. The home and quote page can mirror each other with a module look. Right now, trying to find the best creative style for home page with further work afterwards. We will look for creative ability and work from there. Very serious in moving forward on this as we just completed a contest for another website and were quite happy.
