The software (Gradle) automates the process of compiling software. It's important for small teams of programmers or individuals; but it's absolutely critical for companies with large teams of software programmers (Microsoft, Apple, Google, LinkedIn, etc.).
The website provides information around obtaining services (training, support, and consulting) to use this software to automate the creation of really complex software builds.

Yes, http://www.gradleware.com. There is a related website at http://www.gradle.org. That site provides the open source (i.e. free) version of the software. Gradleware is the company that created it and provides the paid (commercial) support for Gradle. Gradleware is the company behind Gradle and provides services around Gradle. Also, note: We are not attached to any of the current website design patterns, except our logo color and design.

We are looking for a design that is professional, and aimed at enterprise users. The home page design would feature a prominent area to allow for a scrolling header area. Color pallet for the site needs to be based on the existing Gradleware logo (see http://www.gradleware.com).

#1 - Home Page – with 3-4 rotating banners. Actual movement of banner should be a fade from one to another rather than a swoosh or fly-in. See http://www.jaspersoft.com below for example of ideal banner design. Design should include 3-5 “banners”.
#2 - Top Level Pages – Provides summary of the high level categories on the site (Product, Services, Resources, Expertise, etc.)
#3 - Content Pages – Next tier down. Provides content in detail for multiple sub categories of the Top Level Pages (TLP)
#4 – Sub Content Pages – Highest level of detailed content.
#5 – Resources page – Block type design to allow user to select from different categories of resources (Case Studies, Webinars, White Papers, etc.)
#6 – Resource format page – Detailed page for each resource.
#7 – Blog Page – Standard blog format for reading entries
#8 – Stand-alone landing page – Stand-alone page for use in lead gen. Largely consists of header, body copy, and reg form. Designed to be compatible with marketing automation system (Act-On).
Site design should not be too text heavy at the home page and top level pages, but still transport the main message that is difficult to communicate via images and graphics.
Also, don't copy and design from the existing sites.
For the home page, the winning design would include 3-5 banners. Also, of particular importance is the design of the resource library. We have several books, case studies, webinars, videos, etc. that we want visitors to easily get to. Some will require a registration form to access. But most will not.
