Computer party theme design

Design for our next computer party, Polar Party 18: Tjuvraddar! Feel free to be creative.

Polar Party 18 «Tjuvraddar!»

We want a design for our next party, Polar Party 18: Tjuvraddar!. "Tjuvraddar!" is norwegian and means "Thieves!".The theme and name "Polar Party 18: Tjuvraddar!" (thieves) should be incorporated in the design. The design should also include a logo for the party. One can choose to be inspired by our usual logo (see bottom) but it's not required.

The logo should be suitable for print use on t-shirts, banners and similar. Thus it can not be too complicated or delicate.

The design should be extendable. On the web page itself, we will have at least 10 full pages of information, but more can be added.

We want a special splash / intro page with the logo and name. This splash page should also be suitable for print on t-shirts and other apparel.

In addition we want two page designs / layouts: one for the main page listing news, and one for regular pages.The design should appeal to young people (12 to 18 years), as well those from 18 through 26. It has to be cool and modern, yet still serious and not childish.

Ready-made HTML and CSS is a plus, but NOT required. It can be influential on the final choice of design if there is "a tie".

- Web site design appealing to both boys and girls in the age bracket 12 to 26 years- suitable for newspaper-style website postings
- has to be extendable/flexible
- 3 layouts/page types- Splash page- Should include logo and name
- Main page- Should contain news listing (not boring/traditional as we have used former years)
- Content pages- for full-length articles
- Logo incorporated in the design- Available in vector format (SVG/AI/EPS)
- Fonts used should be available
- If your design is based on fonts being used to create article headers or other dynamically-created images, the font(s) used MUST have norwegian chacters ÆØÅæøå.
- You may stray off the theme «thieves» a bit if you wish to explore related subjects like police (eg scotland yard-ish) etc, but the name is set, so there should be a clear link.
- Icons in tune with the design would be a great plus.
