We are a cleantech start-up company looking to establish a strong brand that represents a high level of professionalism, expertise, and sophistication. Our main product is a technology that converts sewer grease into ASTM biodiesel. While our product has many positive environmental attributes we are not looking for a “going green” website that is too earthy, flowery, hippy, etc. Rather, we are seeking an aesthetic that is professional, functional, and modern. We are looking for a user-friendly website that is attractive and appeals to our target audience. We are asking for a home page and the layout for the inner pages.
Some product information / content can be found at our current website (blackgoldbiofuels.com). Since we last updated the website, however, we have refocused on our identity as a wastewater solutions provider. Our target market is the wastewater industry, we solve a waste water problem with a waste to energy solution (biodiesel). With our technology, the water utility can convert a pollution liability into a renewable energy asset. We strongly believe this product will revolutionize the market and we need a sophisticated website to accompany it.
The target audience includes potential clients (engineers, operations and management personnel in the wastewater industry), investors, politicians, and key players in the cleantech industry.
This could include:
- Municipalities (water utilities, waste water treatment plants) who want to save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and increase efficiency of operations
- Pumpers (clean out restaurant grease traps, septic tanks, etc.) who want to increase their profit
- Large food processing companies & distributors who want to reduce costs while doing something environmentally responsible
- Green-focused bloggers
- Media (print, web, tv)
- Investors (cleantech focused or water technology focused) who want to see a sophisticated business that knows their market

Note that unlike conventional biofuel companies, our feedstock does not come from plants /corn / soy, so please be cautious to not utilize agricultural feelings /messaging in icons / designs. Instead, we are a recycling company that addresses the water industry.
