msc skin care + home
We're a natural skincare manufacturer that creates vegan skincare solutions free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and petrochemicals.
We need to create a cohesive line of black boxes for our product packaging. They need to have a consistent look through all of them. Our original thinking is that we would like to see some of the design ideas we use on our current packaging, if possible (swirls, etc), but honestly, we're open to any interpretation. These should all be tuck-top boxes.
The most important part, however, is that each box needs to be used for a variety of scents
For example: Our soap line has 12 different scents. We would need one box for all of them, that is still able to be differentiated, be that a label, sticker, etc.
Preferred box dimensions:
Soap (cutout somewhere is preferred, these should sit vertically rather than horizontally) 2.6 X 1.125 X 3.6
Scrubs - 4x4x2
Whipped Shea - 3x3x2
Bath Salts - 3x3x5
Liquid Soap: 1.55 x 3 x 5.8
Candles - 4x4x4
Lip Creams - 2.5x .6 x .9
Images of our product line are attached as well as a few labels and the complete list of products.
What needs to stay the same:
Product (Artisan Soap, Herbal Spa Soak, Whipped Shea Butter, Exfoliating Body Scrub, Lip Cream, Soy Candle, Organic Liquid Soap)
Size: (Soap 4.2oz/119g
Scrub: 8.8oz/250g
Shea: 4oz/112g
Liquid Soap: 8oz/227ml
Lip Cream: .15oz/4.2g
Soaks: 9.3oz/263g)
What changes:
Scent name
Bar Code
Ingredients (would love to have these 3 items all on the same label for cost reasons, it can wrap around the box sides if need be)
Fonts we use:
Precious
Trajan Pro
We're gearing this line for a transition from natural grocery to prestige and high-end gift. Going from Whole Foods to Bergdorf Goodman.
While we are open to most ideas on how to bring this all together, I do want to emphasize that our products are best served against black and I would like to keep the idea of a dark pallet to help make the colorful labels "pop" (Im sorry, I hate that word, too).
The original name you see on the labels is different from our 2014 logo, we're transitioning the name. Please note there is a different logo for the candles, too.
