**There will be more work for the winning designer. We plan on releasing many more products in this line, and the winning designer will be given first preference for those jobs.**
**Feedback will be provided for all submissions. We will work with you and communicate openly to get the design right.**
We need packaging designed for our acrylic paint sets.
It needs to have a fresh, bold, modern and pop-ish look. And must have a premium feel.
Black with bright colors and patterns is what we envision, but I'm happy to see other interpretations.
We want our customers to love the look of these boxes so much that they'll keep them out on their shelf for display.
A pinterest board has been created for this contest at: https://www.pinterest.com/bennygill…packaging/
Please interpret this brief as you see fit. The pinterest board is just a starting point, by all means get creative.
We do not have a logo. Instead of forcing a pre-made logo into the design, we want the packaging to inspire the creation of our logo in the future.
So please just include 'Element Paints' into the packaging design how you see fit. Do not leave a white spot saying 'insert logo here'.
1) 18 piece acrylic paint box set that contains 22ml tubes. Box size: 22.75cm x 23.6cm x 21cm
2) 12 piece acrylic paint box set that contains 12ml tubes. Box size: 24.7cm x 10.2cm x 2.3cm
The design for each box should be different. But it needs to be consistent and connected across both products, almost like they're two pieces of one whole design.
THE PAINT LABELS:
1) Labels for the 22ml tubes. Label size: 6.7cm x7.2cm
2) Labels for the 12mll tubes. Label size: 5.6cm x5.5cm
Designs for the 12ml and 22ml labels should be exactly the same, just one of them is smaller in size.
They are single labels that get wrapped around the tube. So half the design is seen on the front, and half on the back.
Each label must include the color name, index number, light fastness, and transparency information. The winning designer will be provided with the details for each of the paints inside the boxes, but for now just use the information below on each label:
Scarlet Lake 302
Index Number: PR3 PR4
Light Fastness: ★★★
