Sorry for confusion.
- The names of the groups should be included, and the logos don't have to be used, but if you see how they can work, great.
- The conference will take place in Boise, ID which is the 'whitewater state in the US and attendees who visit, live and work there are fans of the outdoors and river recreation (kayaking, rafting, Standup paddling).
- The title is serious, so the poster can reference excitement and grandeur of the great outdoors but should not seem light and airy or frivolous.
- Any of the new photos loaded can be used as potential backdrops for the poster, but are not necessary: I see submissions with stock photos used...completely okay to do. Please contact me with further questions.
NEWS: NO NEED to USE LOGOS
(see note in the brief)
We would like a graphic [that could combine our logos in an attractive way: it is not necessary to use the logos] that includes the following event information:
[title] Rivers and Recreation in a Changing Climate
[timeframe] May 16-20, 2016
[location] Boise, Idaho
Hosts: River Management Society and Society of Outdoor Recreation Planners
The conference will include days of classroom training and sessions on rivers in Idaho that help professional learn about resource challenges, so we'd like the personality of the graphic to be earnest but not oppressive. A way to highlight the two different logos that does not compete with them graphically would be great. An element that references rivers (Idaho is 'The Whitewater State') would be awesome.
