I am a consultant to to hospitality industry but with a specialism towards coffee shops. I have two highly successful books published on this subject and do various talks and seminars throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
We have a main website at http://www.thecoffeeboys.com
The business is shifting away from one on one consulting towards selling information products that are online and also in DVD and handbook format. The first of these products is a "how to get a new customer" 6 DVD course and manual. It will detail the numerous ways that coffee shops/restaurants/bars/fast food outlets can get new customers.
The culture of the way we talk and operate is in a fun fashion.
This is the cartoon that we used for our first book:
and this is the sort of style that I would like replicated.
The cartoon doesn't need to be complex. It needs to be very simple because it will be replicated many times and possibly on every page of the manual.
It may possibly show a happy operator being handed money by a new customer over a relatively generic counter. I don't want the image to look to obviously like it is from one sector of the hospitality industry but the use of a coffee cup in exchange for the money would work.
Owner/operators of a variety of hospitality businesses. Primarily this is coffee shops, restaurants and fast food outlets.
These people generally see their biggest problem as being not having enough customers. My product, that this cartoon will support, will be the solution to this.
The audience is worldwide.
A simple cartoon to illustrate the concept of a new customer in a hospitality business.
Potentially this would be a customer handing a large amount of money over for a cup of coffee and a happy owner.
It should be capable of being interpreted even in a small size.
