Swan Creek Furniture Company
Brand new high end furniture company - utilizing cabinet making techniques that result in a finished product that looks old.(worn) Pieces that are so solid and painstakingly built that they will last forever. Not to be found at your typical furniture store. Colours are typically muted (pastel).
Our companies manufacturing facility is in an old barn. Our main office is in a century old house. Creeky floors etc... The reason for the name Swan Creek... is that the creek running right behind our 'barn' is called Swan Creek. We are mainly cabinet makers (not kitchens) - specializing in stand alone pieces (end tables, coffee tables, wardrobes, desks) We love working with wood.
Our target audience is high-end buyers looking for that 'country' feel to add to the decor of the house. Our market is not new - but it is specialized. The ability to make this attractive furniture is an art and takes years of experience to perfect in order to become a money-making business - not just a hobby.
Interior designers are the ones who most recommend us to their clients -who then come to our showroom/facility to see us at work and see our products.
Our target audience is very particular - not everyone will spend large amounts of money and a set of end tables to accompany their high end leather furniture.
we have chosen a shape for our sign(see provided ai file)
the sign will be approximately 2' high x 3' wide - it will be double sided when completed (we are doing some faux cabinet add-ons to the sign posts when completed)
as well see the attached swan graphic we would like to have in the oval located in the sign shape (the oval can be resized or reshaped if necessary)
colours: cream and brown - we would like the finished look to be rustic and leave the sign looking old.
Text for sign:
Swan Creek
Furniture
(Oval)
Henry Katerberg - Cabinetmaker
font should be legible - but have an older style, but clean look
(this sign when finished will be smooth - not carved)
Hopefully these parameters don't restrict too much.
The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
Good luck and thanks for all entries!
