We are a band in the final stages of recording our debut album Suite. We have the title but that's about it. There is a lot of room for creativity on this one! Bio below:
With elements of soul, R&B, funk, rock, and pop, Sugar Shack plays original music that’s hard to categorize but easy to groove to. The first thing that always blows people away is Jake Morgan’s voice. The New Orleans native adds his gospel influenced, highly unique sound to Sugar Shack’s already large melting pot of influences
The next thing that people are drawn to is the groove. We’ve all been to those concerts where nobody gets out of their seats, but you’ll never see that happen at a Sugar Shack show. The members of the band have been laying down grooves for artists like Zigaboo Modeliste, Lonnie Smith, Tang, and Will Bernard for the past several years. Though side projects are always available, it’s clear that Sugar Shack is where they have all found their home and will make their mark.
Sugar Shack is the real deal; a solid band with well-crafted original songs and an incredible vocalist. Come check out their next show!
I wish i had an answer for this. Our best advice is to listen to the music at http://www.sugarshackband.com and decide for yourself who you think might listen to this kind of music.
