Society of Social Anticlimbers
We are a global group of smart, witty, hypercritical and irony-leaning people who care deeply about society and culture. Collectively, we serve as a thought leader for cutting edge progressive thinking. At base we believe in freedom of thought and a strong but tolerant society. We produce and sell products to support our mission.
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Reds: Energy, action, passion and love.
Let designers make suggestions:
This organization is meant to be fun and serious at the same time. If possible, it would be fun to incorporate some elements of socialist/communist propaganda such as shown here http://www.paperstone.co.uk/News/20…nda_series. I lean towards the darker reds rather than the true reds.
In a previous contest, I picked the attached as the winner (but it turned out this was not original work). I really liked this logo. My one thought would be if the flag were a martini glass (or something else kind of funny), so that the concepts of the proletariat and the elitist would be married together and the image would be strong but also humorous.
I'd like the slogan "Meet, think and drink sherry" to be included, at least on the homepage. The site should first and foremost be visually compelling but simple, organized and easy to use. I own the url http://www.anticlimber.com, and that is where the site will "live." (There is nothing there now.)
Homepage: Goal is to present the org and get people in clicking on other links. Should include the logo and the tag line (meet, think and drink sherry), a paragraph about the SSAC, and links to other pages (including a "Join" link.
Surveys&Quizzes: Will feature simple, on-line surveys ala Survey Monkey, or links to external quizzes and will be interactive.
Talk to Us: The discussion forum page--interactive, allows users to post discussion topics, join forum-provided discussions, etc.
Shop: features logo products and the ability to support the SSAC through contributions
