I am a real estate investor who buys mostly residential property for rental investment or resale. I am not a real estate agent! I don't want to list people's homes... I want to buy them.
I am very creative in structuring transactions that meet the needs of sellers. I sometimes buy houses cheap to fix or other times pay darn close to full price or more if the seller can provide payment terms or allow me to take over their loan... I'm not just a low-ball offer guy, that's for sure.
Been kicking around tag line ideas to add later like...
"The fastest way to sell your house guaranteed!"
"We don't list houses, we buy them"
"Don't list your house... just sell it! CALL 1.800.U.SOLD.IT"
Anyway...the first step is the logo... can you help?

My target audience is MOTIVATED sellers of real estate who need a solution that solves their problem. They tend to be any of the following:
- Frustrated landlords
- Inherited a home they don't want
- In a divorce
- Relocating for a job
- Lost income to afford their current payments
- Have a bad mortgage they can't get out of
- have a house that they can't or don't want to fix up to get sold
These people don't want to list their house with a real estate agent and wait & hope it may sell, they need it SOLD! They are willing to be flexible and are looking for a solution that they have confidence in, is FAST, hassle free and will relieve them of their problem. Many clients hug me at closing for helping them put an end to an undesirable situation.
I would like a broad range of design ideas, however, what I like won't matter in the least bit... it's what will catch my customer's eyes and make them "take action" and call! So I plan once your designs are all in to have other people (less biased than me) vote on the split-second, knee-jerk reaction, eye catcher that conveys the message.
That said, there are a few things I think are necessary...The logo has to unmistakably refer to and tie in with real estate. I also think it may need to accentuate the "U" in some way so it doesn't get confused with "YOU". (perhaps the familiar U-HAUL brand helps me with that and they didn't seem to care). Quite possibly the separation of the letters is enough? 800.U.SOLD.IT
I had a thought that perhaps using the largest font on the front of US currency or similar might add that "cash" outcome reference.
Colors: Black on yellow seems to be eye-grabbing colors in our industry. "Bandit Signs" are very popular among investors. We used the house shaped one's here: http://ezsigns.net . Here's the sign on our office now at http://www.AlliedHomeBuyers.com (colors are bold and pop!) Same might work.
