We are a communications provider specialising in the wireless/mobile broadband space - the existing company The Fat Free Fone Company is here http://www.fatfree.com.au - we have set up a sister company - The Smart Phone Company to retail and review Smartphones and accompanying monthly plans The business will only have an online presence. The existing business website will give you an idea of our culture/look and feel. I'd like to extend this into the new brand with an identity that is easily recognised as being an evolution of the Fat Free brand.

We are targeting people that are using or thinking of upgrading to a smartphone ie iPhone, Nokia N97, HTC Hero etc. The site will provide news and reviews of various products as well as a support section user generated reviews etc. The target audience is a littel hard to define but ideally soething that sits across both corporate and the 24 - 44 year old smart phone user.
Basically we need a new logo - I'm interested to see how the current logo for The Fat Free Fone Company would look as The Smart Phone Company but in different colors. Not very adventurous I know but it seems like a logical progression and easily identifies both companies as being within the same group - in saying that I'm also happy to see other designs. I'm not really interested in the logo involving a mobile phone handset as the name itself is pretty descriptive - but it does need to be something that is easily transferrable from web to email signatures and print advertising other hard copy collaterall. I have no prefernce for color although not Pink or Purple. It needs to project a clean contemporary look that sits well with the associated logos for the producst ie Apple, Nokia,HTC as well as the Network Carrier logo's - i'e 3, Vodafone etc.
With the increase in mobile data usage and the Smartphone handset being a handheld PC/Camera/Organiser maybe these thoughts can be used in terms of the feel of the logo - stay in touch and informed wherever I am ?
