We are launching the first affiliate marketing network platform that enables business marketers to sell their products and services online to other businesses. A few examples of our target prospects are FedEX, Office Max, CDW, HP, 3M and IBM.
Our affiliate network platform will act as the intermediary between our advertisers (clients) & web publishers (the affiliates). This online platform will allow affiliates to participate in b2b affiliate programs that are suitable for their website and reward them for each sale or lead delivered by the affiliate's marketing efforts.
Our network platform will include tracking technology, reporting tools, payment processing, and access to a large base of publishers. For affiliates, services and benefits will include simplifying the process of registering for one or more merchant affiliate programs, reporting tools, and payment aggregation.
Here are a few examples of other companies in the affiliate maketing space:
1) Any business that markets and sells products & services to other businesses. i.e. b2b companies.
2) Any web publisher (affiliate) that can drive visitors and customers via web traffic to our client's website. These publishers will get paid on a performance pricing model. Meaning, they generate income as a commission when a sale and/or lead is delivered to our advertiser clients. (i.e. revenue share model)
Here's a good example of the business model and affiliate marketing cycle:
Think clean and crisp. We're trying to portray a sense of trust, connecting business partnerships and the sharing of wealth within a web 2.0 logo. We'd like to mimic certain aspects and elements of the following logos but give our logo a business-to-business friendly feel and focus.
We're also big fans of mint.com's logo (see attached).
