MMA Root Needs a Killer Logo

Looking for a logo which puts the perfect emphasis on MMA Root (dot) com; a site which features MMA news, videos, and more.

Please read the contest brief, we'd like the logo to emphasize the root of MMA. We don't want a logo with just some text and an MMA glove, that doesn't have an immediate impact on the user at all and does nothing to grasp the correlation between the site name and the logo.

We'd like the logo to emphasize the "root" of MMA, there are many ways to do this and you can be as creative as you can. You can feature things like an MMA glove, please know that MMA gloves are different from boxing gloves. Using an MMA glove is just an idea, we want you to get as creative as you can.

We want the logo to have an immediate impact on the user, the user needs to immediately grasp the meaning of the site within the logo.

We'd like the logo to look fun, energetic, and clean. The site name must be somewhere in the logo.

- Red, black, white and gray colors are welcome. We'd like those
colors to stand out the most, particularly red. Other colors
are welcome too.
- The words "MMA Root" must be somewhere in the logo
- Must use the concept of the "root" of MMA
- Needs to look good on both black and white backgrounds

- Nothing that doesn't have immediate impact on the user
- Nothing that has anything to do with boxing
- Nothing irrelevant
- Please don't design the logo after the content, what I mean by this is don't put anything in the logo which shows that we post videos, news, etc. The logo just needs to show the meaning of the site.
