We have hosted Trivia Nights (also known as Pub Quiz) in bars and restaurants across the country for 15 years. We recently launched a Trivia podcast, and we have a Trivia card game coming out on Kickstarter in a few months. Our target audience has traditionally been men and women, ages 21-55. Our goal is to become a lifestyle brand that attracts people who value brain health, curiosity, connection, and living a good life; therefore, we want our brand to break Trivia's barriers to entry and push the narrative that Trivia is for everyone. Knowledge is power.

This logo will be for our Trivia card game called Full Frontal Nerdity. Our corporate logo (attached) showcases an owl eye that is curious, thoughtful, and determined, but not aggressive. For this Full Frontal Nerdity logo, we want to build out the rest of the owl in a more playful way. The Owl is traditionally seen as a wise and dignified creature. The keeper of knowledge (1a. Winnie the Pooh and 1b. the Owl Library Spirit in Avatar: The Last Airbender). In our story, the wise Owl has been hoarding all the answers for a long time; however, with Full Frontal Nudity, the unpredictable Nerd Winds blow a sudden gust which ruffles the dignified feathers, revealing the Owl’s legs (2a/2b. Marilyn Monroe style). Oh no! The answers are all falling out of the Owl’s clutches! They are falling everywhere! This is madness! The owl desperately tries to preserve its dignity using its wings to attempt to preserve its modesty. The owl is scandalized, ruffled, off balance, stunned. The owl needs our help to “collect” the answers? The owl is our crazy guide. Here's an idea of how the logo could look: FULL FRONTAL NERDITY stacked in the middle with skinny owl legs coming down from the bottom underneath NERDITY. The name is "covering" the intimate parts of the owl as a nod to full frontal exposure, although this is a secondary element that should be implied at best. The owl's head (or part of the head) comes up from the top above FULL. The wings appear to be wrapping the name portraying the scene described in the paragraph above. Our owl should look unique and be an extension of our corporate logo branding; the owl should not necessarily look like any of the attached pics which have been included to convey the owl's personality. Please use the Great Horned Owl as the general type of owl being designed. The goal of this logo is to play off the fun nature of "Full Frontal Nerdity: The Trivia Game With Exposed Answers" without coming across as crude/adult-rated or challenging/unapproachable. The proposed idea offers a fun juxtaposition of the "owl" (dignified, wise, poised, dangerous), being caught with his pants down, so to speak. It builds in a visual joke to the already funny word-based joke. Thank you for working on our project! We can't wait to see what you come up with.
