We are marketing a safe, proven, but largely unknown germ-killing system. It isn't just a cleaning product, but an entire soup-to-nuts bacteria-killing program that suits the largest locations (hospitals, stadiums, malls) all the way down to your bathroom at home. Beginning in the northeastern United States, we are poised to introduce the product line to key clients in the region and ramping up to international distribution in the near future.
Our range of products is based on a technology which kills microbes without the use of dangerous poisons. Our solution can keep any location bacteria-free indefinitely. Once applied, it keeps working and does not wear off. We offer our corporate clients a safe haven from fear of viral outbreaks, bad PR and lawsuits due to microbe infestation. As important, our solution is environmentally friendly, EPA registered and NOT a poison or pesticide that can harm people or animals.
Think of us as a comforting blanket of cleanliness delivered by highly-trained professionals and based on advanced molecular biology.
Our principal market is large organizations where people could be exposed to dangerous microscopic germs. The foremost of these are hospitals and health clinics. Our system can literally save lives in these environments where people are at their most vulnerable and new source infections are being introduced into the environment constantly.
The next tier of key clients are schools, daycare centers and other educational institutions, especially anywhere students live as well as study. Because our products are non-poisonous we will also target restaurants and food-prep businesses.
Even retailers, sports team facilities, hotel chains, office buildings, and museums are potential customers. Anywhere that a large number of people pass through and/or handle a product would benefit from our antimicrobial system.
Of course, our direct client is the key health maintenance decision-maker in these organizations. In a hospital, this would be an infectious disease physician. In other organizations it will be the COO or General Manager. Public Relations staff will also play a key role, since they are at the front line of any bad publicity surrounding a germ outbreak.
Our logo must convey that we represent an established, trustworthy technology. It is a safe, environmentally-friendly cleaner/disinfectant. The key differentiator of our product is a "designer molecule" which lasts indefinitely and can kill any microbe it comes into contact with.
The logo should evoke chemistry and science at the microscopic, molecular level. But we want to convey a sense of security, safety and comfort. No scary atoms that remind you of a nuclear bomb!
The three letters A P S must be central to the design. The full name of the company, "Antimicrobial Products & Services" will always be a subheader. The headline identity of the company will incorporate the acronym APS.
We are in the process of designing our website. We've been using Helvetica Neue for its clean, sleek look. Predominant colors on the website are grey, white, some minimal environmental green and blue.
Even though it's a woman-owned business, we're not looking for flowery, feminine, or calligraphy type styles. Also, no cartoons or caricatures since they distract from the serious science.
Artistic representation of the concept is OK. We prefer clean, neat, sleek, sophisticated design. No garish colors -- prefer muted, sophisticated colors. Logo must work for print (including stationery/business cards) and website.
