She is targeting small to medium sized businesses in an effort to help them "navigate the mine fields in the business world" and avoid the "School of Hard Knocks" in starting and running a successful business.
In an effort to reach more businesses and reduce the number of small businesses that FAIL, she wrote a book: “Turning Your Dream Business Into Your Bread and Butter: Recipes for Running Your Business From Scratch” (March, 2007, Morgan James). Her book has been nominated for one of the 2008 Georgia Writers Association Awards and was a #1 best seller on Amazon.com.
We are looking for a dynamic yet engaging, sassy yet powerful, elegant yet simple logo designed around Ellen's new domain name: "Navigate To Profits"
Ellen's favorite color scheme is predominantly Navy blue, with a possible contrasting green highlight (either dark or light). She wants the logo to display a "Compass rose-look" (i.e., to enhance the "Navigate..." theme), with a "nautical feeling" to it (i.e., a sailboat incorporated into the overall theme might work). She also likes to look of a world "globe", too. Some sort of "profits" theme might also be incorporated into this, too.
For examples of designs/colors she has utilized in the past, please visit her previous sites: "Springercpa.com" for "Strategic Business Resources, Inc." (her CPA firm)and "runasuccessfulbusiness.com" for her Internet Marketing and book marketing site. You can also get a sense of the colors she likes from this site, too.
