SiteTour
I'm launching a new web resource for the retail real estate industry at SiteTour.com. You can go to the website and get some idea. It has an aerial/map based search function for searching property information and getting site plans. It also provides a way for people to get connected with each other and see updates in their geographic areas of interest.
Here are some features and benefits:
Stay connected and informed! Simplify leasing and site selection! Make deals!
Landlords: Market your shopping center and get tenant activity updates in your trade areas.
Tenants: Find property information and site plans and get property updates in your targeted areas
Brokers: Do all of the above for your clients, always be up-to-date!
This industry is somewhat stodgy and slow to take on new technologies - the time is right to offer this. This needs to be clean and professional primarily while offering a hint of edginess and even playfulness, but not so much that this audience feels out of place.
Retail Real Estate Industry - this means landlords of shopping centers, people who work for national retail chains that help them find new stores, and the brokers and others in between. Professional, educated, affluent for the most part.
I don't want to "fit in" to this industry because it's old and stodgy, so again I want to be a little more fun and edgy, while still being relevant to this audience.
I need to have a logo redone for my website sitetour.com
I have a logo for SiteTour.net, but just bought the .com domain and it doesn't look right to just change the .net in the logo to .com. Also, since I now have the ".com" domain, I no longer think its necessary to include .com in the actual logo - that it optional.
I am also open to removing the tag line from the logo and just including it next to or below the logo with regular text.
The current logo colors are the color pallette for this project...you don't have to use all, but this needs to fit perfectly with the website.
I need the logo to be designed to fit the website look and feel and allocated space at SiteTour.com. Because of this it is going to be somewhat horizontal in layout, however, I do not want it to be too wide as it needs to also view well in the square photo/image panes of many of the social media outlets – this is secondary, but still a consideration.
I am looking for clean, simple and professional work. Again, a hint of edgy and fun is good, but clean and professional should override.
No clip art. No crappy resolution. No poor composition. No shortcuts. This is all a big turn off. I would like to see good, clean design with good composition.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
