Logo for "Monody": an electronic/industrial/ebm band

We are an electronic/industrial/ebm band band that is about to break onto the Portland, Oregon music scene. We are looking for a cool logo that will help identify our band persona. Its not much, but we are working on our first batch of recordings right now.

We would like a logo that's not too "busy", so it can be used on varying mediums without being too small. Multi-color is fine, as long as the logo also looks good if we have to use it in black (or one-color) and white (eg., for certain types of merchandise). I think we had in mind something revolving around a Capital "M" which may or may not have the entire word of "Monody" in it.

It would be nice to have it in a vector (eg., PDF or Adobe Illustrator) format so we can blow it up on a nice banner to go behind the band when we play.
