The Power of Ten Event
We are producing a HUGE youth event in Anaheim CA next year on 10-10-10, when we will bring together 10,000 High School Students and their parents for a once-in-a-lifetime experience called "The Power of Ten." We will have top-notch recording artists provide a concert, and the youths will hear from famous speakers like Mark Victor Hansen (Chicken Soup for the Soul books), Andy Andrews (The Traveler's Gift), along with famous celebrities as they teach these youths the "10 Keys for Success in High School and Beyond."
The final logo we choose will likely be featured on TV, Web, and Print Ads as well as event merchandise (shirts, hats, posters, etc), maybe even on concert shirts with famous artists and celebrities.
This is a GREAT opportunity for exposure since the logo we decide to use may get splashed all over the place!
The event targets High School kids and will teach them 10 keys to succeed in High School and beyond. Subjects include:
· Financial Wisdom
· Good Choices
· And more
The logo needs to appeal to High School age kids from 14 to 18 years of age BUT not be offensive to their parents or our sponsors. We can only be a little edgy here!
Also give some thought to how the logo would look on websites and apparel.
We don’t have any strong ideas for a logo, so we are a clean slate! We want it to have that “rock star” look and be something that would look nice and bold on a website or print ad. We know there are some people out there with great ideas and great artistic flair. Let’s see what you can do!
The logo will need to look GREAT on the types of apparel kids buy (dark or black hoodies) and also look great on a website or mailer. And can you envision your logo on a JumboTron screen?
We are NOT looking for a "gangsta" look or anything heavy on skulls.
We would like to see the phrase The Power of Ten worked into the logo, and maybe something playing on the date, 10-10-10.
Show us something "cool" (to use the phrase of my youth) or "sick" (to get a bit more current).
We will watch the contest closely and provide feedback on a daily basis to help fine-tune the process.
