Un gagnant a été sélectionné de 35 designs proposés par 13 designers freelance.
GreenestHost.com will offer web hosting that runs in a data center that's 100% powered by solar energy. Logo 1: Should encompass the strong eco-friendly, but progressive nature of the business. The second logo is a certification seal that people can post on their website that reads, "Solar Power Inside." You can submit for one or both. Though they're related and for the same website, I will be awarding prizes for each logo separately ($125 for each).

GreenestHost.com will be launching this month, offering web hosting, co-location, and managed servers that run in a data center that's 100% powered by solar energy.
Logo 1: Corporate Identity - We need one logo that encompases the strong eco-friendly, but progressive nature of the business. I definitely don't want it to be too kitchy or hippyish. I would like for the identity to be progressive, forward thinking, and remind people that clean technologies like this are the wave of the future. For the colors, I would like to stay either all green or green with complimentary colors: yellow, orange and possibly red (the colors of the sun.)
Logo 2: The second logo is a certification or seal that people can post on their website that reads, "Solar Power Inside." It can be any color, it just needs to look professional and like it's coming from a certifying agency. Verisign and TrustE do a nice job of this, but I would like to incorporate a sun in the logo somewhere.
I feel like I'm getting too many copycat designs and kind of moving in a tangent, so here's a hint that should help the winning designs. I love a number of the designs found here:

I love simple, straight-forward design with good use of colors and creative symbols.
You can submit for one or both. Though they're related and for the same website, I will be awarding prizes for each logo separately ($125 each), though the same person can win both if they have the best designs for both.
** I know the term is over used, but the winning designs will probably be somewhat Web 2.0-looking or at least have some look of three dimensions (not just flat lettering on a page.)
