Someone can use it
Hi. My name is Steve. I am a fulltime geek and a part time farmer. I was fortunate to be able to spend a few weeks in Nepal this year. While I was in Nepal I began watching how the people reused or repurposed all sorts things. Burlap bags became flower pots. Worn climbing ropes became clothes lines or horse leads. I continued to think about this when I got home. I thought rather than throwing good things away let’s give people that can use it a chance to take what they need. Neighbors helping neighbors. We match people that need things (and may not have the means to buy them a chance to get them for free) to people that were going to throw things away. It doesn’t matter what it is. One persons garbage is another persons treasure. Reusing things is a lot better than filling up garbage dumps and landfills with perfectly useful stuff. It’s an active form of recycling.
