receptionsearch.com.au
The Reception Search site helps venues market themselves as reception venues online. We are not a bridal website, however our audience are mostly newly engaged couples in the 25-35 age group. We are an Australian site and our natural ranking in Google means we pick up most newly engaged internet savvy brides as soon as they are engaged.
We are redeveloping our website and want a new logo to reflect our clients and audience’s requirement for clear and clean communication. The site’s main function is to present information to them in an ‘easy to sort’ fashion that allows our visitors to short-list venues efficiently.
Target Audience - Recently engaged couples
Aged 25-35
Internet Savvy
We require unique, fun, memorable creative, while maintaining a professional image. We want to strike a balance between venue and bridal orientation.
1. The logo should be developed to suit our new website’s look and feel we would like to include it in an overall masthead design.
2. Must look good in the size allocated to the logo on the site (main use is online) 232 pixels wide by 90 pixels high and must be easy to read.
3. Develop flavcon utilising icon/graphic from logo/or develop a complimenting flavcon.
Things we like
Princess Diana’s emblem on her note paper. The D has a crown on it. Would like a similar with the R of Reception Search and a tiara or wedding veil (see accompanying image for Diana design).
Colours scheme: Anything that compliments the new site colour scheme.
IDEA: Perhaps the first ‘e’ in receptionsearch.com.au could an 'online' orientated 'e ' (see attached image) and perhaps it could spin slowly. This is only an idea, we are no completely wedded this concept (pardon the pun).
