Pearls are unique in the jewelry world - they are very traditional (think Jackie Kennedy), but these days they're also being worn in fun, modern, non-traditional ways. The company: We are a small but sophisticated company with other online successes - we love the good things in life, and making life richer and easier for our customers.

The variety of people who purchase pearls is amazing, really. What we see are:
>> Men, usually 25-60, buying pearls as "Wow!" gifts for the women in their lives: girlfriends, wives, mothers, sisters, and daughters.
>> Professional women, usually aged 20-65, buying pearls for themselves- both for fun and professional attire
>> Women of all backgrounds, usually aged 20-65, buying pearls as gifts for women friends and relatives.
We'd love to be wowed by your creativity! This is a new brand, and we're open to new ideas. Our only constraints are that the logo must:
-- have a horizontal aspect
-- be simple and strong enough to "read" clearly and legibly on the web - i.e., at 72dpi & no taller than 55 px
-- work in both color and in black & white
Stylistically, we're shooting for:
-- clean and contemporary, but with a hint of traditional reference. This is to reflect how pearls are seen by most people (traditional) while strongly promoting their more modern use and aspect
