ShootTheChit’s is a free-minded community that allows 12 – 30 year olds a place to share/voice their opinion via surveys, polls, chat rooms and field assignments on a variety of topics. And, for doing this, they will win free “chit.”
Where do the best ideas come from? Where does sincerity percolate? Where does collaboration reach its apex to form the template of the next generation? Greatness and innovation is not found in stuffy rooms or under the restrictive gaze of social rules, propriety, or inertia. No, it bursts forth from the pure unadulterated freedom of kicking it with your friends and just “shooting the shit.” Pool halls, sidewalks, sports bars, skateboarding, surfing, lounges, concerts, festivals, your grandmas front porch, or simply lounging in the living room on the couch nursing your favorite vice; the words and wisdom spilt from your lips without hesitation or concern of the consequences is the purest form of truth. This truth is what we at shootthechit.com want to connect into, the proverbial clay for us to dip our hands and carve the sculpture of your collective vision. We are utilizing the Web to provide those individuals with a voice and the desire for it to be heard to record their opinions, about anything from products, gear, relationships, music, politics, etc. And, for every opinion you will earn free “chit”, prizes and other cool gear.
Overall we are targeting those teens and young adults that like to be involved, to be heard and are influencers among their peers. However, participation will be open to all.

Based on segmentation and lifestyles among these age groups, ShootTheChit will target our information gathering and topics that are relevant to brands and organizations interested in know more about these segments.
We are looking for a logo that can stand apart or alongside our company name. It should be fun, friendly, hip, but not over the top - crass.
In addition, type treatments of the company name should be explored, as well as a color pallet.
