The Central Illinois Breast Cancer Awareness Association believes that knowledge is empowerment. Today, thanks to new developments in screening and treatment, there are about 2.5 million breast cancer survivors living in the United States. CIBCAA believes if we continue this trend, focusing on early detection, patient education, and new treatments, that within a generation breast cancer can cease to be a fatal disease for most women. CBCAA is committed to making this goal become a reality.

Mostly women, aged 35-65. Many have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, or are concerned about being at risk for breast cancer.
