BerryBrook.net
Desired Style:
"Web 2.0" look, but not too "way out". It's a business (though not a Web 2.0 business), so modern, professional, simple, clean, uncluttered, nothing ornate, etc. You get the idea.
Accepted File Formats:
Vector format for stationery, PNG for web site
This should be an easy one (that's what they all say, right!?). It's for a company called "BerryBrook Projects". I have a particular idea in mind for this. First, I'd like a green leaf - something like in http://www.refreshdallas.org/, or 9Rules, or haveamint.com (of course, don't swipe those). Then, somewhere near the leaf, a circle/sphere in red or dark orange (the "berry" part), and then underneath, a blue wave or ripple (the "brook" or water part).
So, the idea is to show that it's like a berry bush near a brook. (If anyone wants to know why, I can explain offline.) Not sure what size is needed - might not hurt to see if it can fit in a 165 pixel-wide area (height less of an issue).
Though this is my pre-defined notion, I'm open to other ideas - something creative with the name itself (words in different colors, maybe some kind of ripple effect, or something like http://www.blackjune.com). So, if something other than what I'm thinking strikes you, by all means suggest it. The overall idea is to 1) "illustrate" the name 2) be simple and clean.
