We are an emerging business intelligence software company. Our product is unique in the short turnaround needed to take any data source and define and create the data marts and user experience needed to see the data in a whole new way. You can take that staid data and look at it using various visualization tools as well as grow the data for trending and pattern searching over time.

Our customers tend to be mid-size businesses who have moved beyond individual users grinding away at Excel, but cannot or have not implemented mega-dollar data warehouse projects. They have lots of data, but not necessarily a money tree growing in the back 40 to waste on long-term data warehousing projects. Also, with business needing to react quickly against the competition or market forces, they need results within a few days, not a few months. Our product delivers this for them.
CONTEST UPDATE (see bottom). Let's start with what we have. We have a trademarked symbol (which you can see at http://www.reconinsight.com/images/…_symbol.ai or http://www.reconinsight.com/images/logo_name.gif (which includes the company name). So why do we need a logo? Well, we are not sure about our colors, the company name's font, or the overall presentation. Also, we believe someone with some style and ability can put the logo, including the company name in a better light in terms of color, form, and packaging. Does this mean you can't come up with a different logo? No, but it would have to be good enough for us to put our symbol in a box in the bottom of the closet. We realize this challenge isn't as straightforward as starting off from scratch...but if you have ability and creativity, you can either re-package what we have into something exciting, or create something new and exciting enough to make us want to call Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe one more time. Thanks for taking time to read our plight...CONTEST UPDATE...if you vary from the symbol, the trademark doesn't apply anymore anyway, so go ahead and be completely free to do something new! Let the creative juices flow...so to speak.
