Talk radio show for Baby Boomers. “Life Happens” is a new weekly radio program on WGY News-Talk 810AM and 103.1FM in New York’s Capital and Hudson Valley Regions or listen online. The show explores and explains the unprecedented challenges confronting Baby Boomers and their families as aging goes mainstream. Balancing work and home life, while preparing for retirement, Boomers face financial, legal and health challenges, including caring for aging parents and supporting children and grandchildren.
The show will address timely topics such as planning for retirement, reducing taxes, paying for college, planning for long-term care, wills and trusts, and many other legal and financial planning issues. The program features local and national guests, and listeners are encouraged to call in with the vital questions that we all face as Life Happens. Aging is more than just a number – it will be a lifestyle. Are you prepared?

Baby Boomers (40+) and Seniors. WGY is one of the United States's oldest radio stations and the premiere News Talk station in Upstate New York. Listeners are typically between 35-70, middle to upper incomes/ lifestyles. The show is hosted by the Pierro Law Group and New York Long-Term Care Brokers, knowledgeable and compassionate local advisors who care about serving their clients and educating the community.
Logo will be used on web promotions and print collateral (.ai, .psd, .pdf). Additional website development can be discussed after completion of logo project if interested and capable.
Designers can be creative and help shape the brand of Life Happens Radio. The website will be lifehappensradio.net.
-The name of the show is "Life Happens" and we want to convey that is a radio show in some manner. This can be done graphically and/or by using the words "Life Happens Radio" in the logo.
-Logo can be displayed with or without the tag line: “Are You Prepared?”
Please feel free to experiment with colors and ideas. The name can lend itself to some creative imagery and representations - we want to see your ideas!
Although the logo should reflect the professional nature of the show, it should also be approachable and creative. The goal is not to have an overly boring and mundane show (or logo)!
