Gen X-er with 15 years of Const background starting new company that intends to break down traditional barriers that exist on jobsites between English & Spanish-speaking teammates through cool, fun and memorable teaching techniques designed specifically for the Const Trade. Sick & Tired of lack of inclusiveness, productivity, and safety (Latinos 3x more likely to be injured) on jobsites because no one has found a time-sensitive & fun way to teach Const Spanish and have it stick - that will change. As the name implies, I do have red hair that is (can be) memorable. The const industry is rarely on the cutting edge of tech, coolness, or anything else, and I'd like to quickly stand out as something new & different. Company culture is based around teaching Const Spanish in innovative new ways unlike those taught in any classrooms. Internal company motto is, "Do cool shit every damn day or die trying. Inactivity is lame ." You get the idea. We are competitive as hell, but look to have fun and improve each day - individually and as a team.

Target market is the US construction industry (commercial and residential) & will be aimed more specifically at the next generation of construction leaders that understand the Latino demographic shift in the US and view it as an opportunity to gain a competitive advantage vs. threat to the status quo. Desired audience will be more design sensitive and will pick up on subtle cues of new companies, ie, differentiated logos that stand out.
Looking for logo to be used on biz cards, letterhead (etc), apparel and website. Would like to capitalize somehow on the "red head" aspect as this should make it easy to remember. Would like logo to encapsulate the 3 main components of the company: a redheaded dude, construction, and the Spanish language. Interested in fresh approaches to designs that will "say" those 3 things clearly. If hardhat can be incorporated fluidly - great; the early-adopters are focusing on safety, but if it doesn't fit - no worries. I'd rather select a fresh design that includes the 3 main components mentioned above without a hardhat than something everyone has seen before that includes one. No dudes with toolbelts and no gumby-looking guys with red circles for heads.
