Nom de l'entreprise
BAHAMA DUTCH OVEN
We are branding a restaurant based on the theme of the Bahamian tradition of Dutch Oven Cooking (Covered Cast iron pots cooking on hot coals). Dutch Settlers brought this method of cooking to Eleuthera Island and it spread throughout the Bahamas.
Our product is good food, served quickly.

Our location is in the Nassau, Bahamas Airport. Our customers are the traveling public, most of them on vacation. Our restaurant will serve primarily Pizza, Rotisserie Chicken, and dry-rubbed ribs. We want to provide a comfortable Bahamian atmosphere. The logo should be fairly simple, easy to read and carry the Dutch Oven cooking message.
We need an interesting logo to represent our Bahamian Cooking themed restaurant. The sign/logo image should reflect a sense of the islands and the Dutch Oven method of cooking. This is a new food service concept and we are creating an original brand logo. We hope to expand this dining concept to multiple locations over time.
Note: Our primary use of the sign/logo will be in a sign over the food service counter. It must fit within a 2’ x 20’ area, and this will be a primary factor in selecting the winner. It should include the venue name “Bahama Dutch Oven”, and an associated or integrated graphic icon. The icon may occasionally be utilized by itself.
The font style(s) and color direction is at the designer’s discretion to reflect the Dutch Oven theme. The focus is food & beverage sales.
It needs to be scalable – from a large wall sign to a business card. No clip art or stock images please.
We will require a full color high res .tif, a .jpg, a layer separated Photoshop .psd (RGB), an .eps file, and a black and white high res .tif.
The linear aspects of the sign are important - that is the main design we are serching for. it does not have to fill up the 2' by 20' space, but that is what the airport allows us, and of course, we want to maximize our exposure.
