Hi designers! Our Failure to Launch company is doing a rebranding and looking for a new, strong logo. Forte Strong (pronounced for-tay) is the worlds first and premier failure to launch program for young adult men. We don't use a tagline, but if we had to choose one, it would be "We build men." To be Forte Strong means to exude strength, honor, respect, leadership and direction. We are also a bit eliteist. We are picky about who we accept into our program.
Because we are a strength based coaching company, we are looking for a logo that embodies these qualities, particularly strength. We have done a focus group and asked what comes to mind when they hear the word "strength". Although we are not super sold on any of them, the common items that came to mind were:armor, helmet, oak tree/big tree, lion, castle, banner/flag, etc...
We want to stay away from logos that could infer that we do something other than what we really do. Ie.., our current logo is a key. However, I have people ask me on a consistent basis if I'm a locksmith or if we are professional safe crackers. Its annoying. I'd rather people say "Great logo! What is it that you guys do?"
We're looking for a logo that is iconic, and not like anyone else! And something that people can identify with strength when they look at it, but also something that a 23 yr old would be proud to wear on a t shirt.
