Don't Forget The Roses
I'm a young adult living in New York City. I'm starting a blog that is designed to capture the great memories I have about my experiences. This blog is about life moving so quickly that stopping and smelling the roses is only half the battle. Remembering the roses is the real challenge but it carries a great payout. Especially for those days, weeks and months when it seems there just aren’t any NEW roses. So, what are the roses exactly? It’s simple really. The roses are just the things in life worth remembering. They are people, places, moments and things that I’ve been honored to experience and at times inspired by. I live in one of the greatest cities in the world, New York. I’ve lived in other exciting places like London and Los Angeles. I’m fortunate to be an owner of two successful businesses. I’ve racked up a couple of million frequent flier miles traveling throughout much of the world and had great experiences that I want to document mostly for family now and hopefully one day for future generations.

I am not looking to promote this blog to anyone who doesn't know me. It's for family and maybe some close friends.
I am looking for a design for the banner at the top of the home page for the blog/website that will communicate "Don't Forget the Roses." Those words should appear in print but I'm also looking for imagery. I'm a male so I don't want this to be too feminine but the use of roses should be included. I usually prefer photography to display an image (such as a picture of something) versus a graphic design but I'm open to your creativity. I prefer a more modern, clean look. You don't have to go this way, but I would consider the creation of an image that is a montage of different relevant images that are somewhat subtle (maybe even lightened almost like a watermark). Since this site is about my memories, relevant images in the montage could include people, cityscapes, etc...the things that make up memories. Only go that way if you like montages. I am not looking for every design that comes back to include montages. These are guidelines to just be considered...I'm open to and will appreciate your creativity!
