I am a network marketer who sells hair care products (mostly shampoo, conditioner, hair masques, styling gel and hair taffy), along with some beard grooming products.
I am trying to focus primarily on the Alaska market.
I like the concept of the Big Dipper (The symbol on the Alaska state flag symbol) with hair.
Design should be classic and classy, but also easy to convert to a favicon for my website, so nothing too complicated.

They packed a lot of different ideas/image into one logo, which I like. I like that they tied the company name into the image, too.

I like that the image is compact, but clear and easy to interpret/see. I also like that the company name can be separate from the logo when necessary.

I don't really like the logo image, but I really like that the image is not unnecessarily complex. I also like that the company name can be separate from the logo when necessary.

This feels very unique, but at the sam time, the image is very clear and easy to see what it is. I like the integration fo the logo and company name, though it is not a requirement for my logo.

The company I rep for is MONAT, so it should be something that doesn't clash with their corporate logo but also doesn't copy it in any way. I am happy to answer any questions. The corporate website for MONAT is monatglobal.com -- that might help give an idea for the look and feel.
I am marketing primary to Alaskans (especially Alaska natives), and those living in remote parts of Alaska (where almost everything comes by mail)
I've attached a current logo, which I don't really like.

My website is http://www.hairalaska.com -- it needs work and an overhaul, but I want to get a new/better logo done before I invest in anything else.
