I am an English business consultant turned writer living in New York. I am travelling around the world interviewing people who really enjoy what they do for their work. I will be sharing their stories, their tricks & tips and writing about what we can learn from them. The project is provisionally called "The Tough Guide to enjoying work and life". An alternative is "The Tough Guide to Soft Skills".
Most of us will spend over 20,000 hours in front of a computer or in an office yet we will barely spend a moment thinking about how those hours can be shortened or made more enjoyable. This book is being written with them in mind.

My audience will be people in the 20s, 30s & 40s looking to enjoy their professional lives. They will likely be feeling stuck and wanting to understand what they can do differently to get 'unstuck'
The website / blog / book will be a mix of personal stories, practical tips, ancient wisdom and provocative life lessons of how to change.
Color: I would like the logo to be either an orange OR a green that will appeal both to men & women. The orange / green could be combined with dark grey and white.
Logo: The logo could be the words "Tough Guide" on a book. That said I'm open to something more creative. In due course I will likely write a toughguide specific by profession so I would like it to have the potential to be an umbrella logo.
Typeface: the typeface of "Tough Guide" should be clear, simple and bold. I like marble lower case and other fonts without serifs. I don't want anything too fancy or squiggley typeface.
