We are an online company marketing a wide range of prepaid debit cards, prepaid credit cards, gift cards, and prepaid phones. We will be undertaking a complete redesign of our site (http://www.prepaidcards123.com), but want to start with the logo.

The primary target audience for prepaid cards is young adults ages 18 to 24. One of the challenges, however, is that the market for prepaid cards does include older adults, as well as a significant international market.
Also keep in mind that one target audience will be the media and others in the prepaid card industry who visit the site for industry news and analysis.
The logo has to be hip enough for the younger generation, but still professional enough for the older folks (like me!). We are also looking for something that conveys how easy it is to obtain and use prepaid cards, which can incorporate the idea that finding a great prepaid card is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
We are finding that many young adults see prepaid cards as a way of life. They avoid debt and interest charges, and they relate very closely to the marketing behind these cards (e.g., the RushCard marketing under the Baby Phat label or the new Kardashian Sisters prepaid card that launches later this month).
I'm totally open to colors, and will base the redesign of the site on the colors ultimately chosen for the logo. The key is to successfully combine hip, professional, and ease into the logo.
